The founding members and all the staff of New Food intends to express its solidarity and closeness to the boys of the historicLocanda dei Girasoli, a restaurant business that since 1999 has combined the love for quality cuisine with thesocial and working inclusion of young people with Down syndrome, Williams syndrome and other cognitive disabilities.
An important reality for the city of Rome, which is experiencing a moment of very serious economic crisis in a context of complex and delicate pandemic emergency.
We hope with all our hearts, therefore , that the competent institutions, which in these hours have expressed closeness to the Locanda, find an immediate and concrete solution to save the "Sunflowers" in the knowledge gained that quality food and social inclusion, if mixed together, can only do good and be a fundamental model for the society we live in every day.
